Cedar Plank Catfish on the PK Grill

  • Soak cedar planks for at least 1 hour in water, we suggest an hour and a half if you can.
  • Get grill going to reach approximately 400º-425º.
  • Coat the side of the cedar plank you are putting the fish on with olive oil.
  • Place catfish on cedar plank. Coat catfish with olive oil. Season catfish with Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Butter Rub and then Heath Riles BBQ Chicken Rub (yes, chicken rub). Repeat on other side of catfish.
  • Place cedar plank catfish on the grill and cook for 10 minutes before checking. Start to check for an internal temperature of 145º. Once internal temperature is reached, remove cedar plank catfish from the grill.
  • Serve with your favorite vegetables and rice for a tasty meal! Enjoy!
